Description

This course is addressed to personnel involved in the development, testing, evaluation, modification or certification of modern Flight Control Systems (FCS) with Command and Stability Augmentation. The course covers the concepts of:

  • static equilibrium and trim
  • longitudinal and lateral-directional static stability
  • longitudinal and lateral-directional dynamics
  • transfer-functions
  • control engineering
  • command and stability augmentation
  • non-linearities
  • modeling and simulation
  • handling qualities testing

Course includes a data acquisition flight in a light aircraft.
