EFT Expands Flight Test Training Fleet with BO 105 Helicopter

Euro Flight Test (EFT) is pleased to announce the addition of the iconic MBB BO 105 helicopter to its flight test training fleet.

Renowned worldwide for its exceptional agility, precise handling qualities, and pioneering rigid rotor system, the BO 105 has long been regarded as one of the most capable rotorcraft platforms for advanced pilot and flight test training. Its highly responsive flight characteristics provide an outstanding environment for demonstrating aircraft dynamics, handling qualities, flight envelope exploration, and flight test techniques in a practical setting.

Powered by two Allison/Rolls-Royce 250-C20B turboshaft engines and featuring a maximum take-off mass of up to 2,500 kg, the BO 105 combines performance, safety, and operational flexibility. The spacious cabin also allows the integration of flight test instrumentation and onboard observation equipment, making it an ideal flying laboratory for training and demonstration purposes.

The addition of the BO 105 further strengthens EFT’s capability to provide comprehensive rotary-wing flight test education, supporting the development of future flight test professionals through hands-on experience and real-world operational insight.
