EFT utilizes a modular, aircraft-independent system for practical flight test training and data acquisition. At its core is the MeBo unit — an in-house developed databox that integrates GPS/INS, air data inputs, string gages, an OAT sensor, event marker, independent power supply and a custom logger. It captures key flight parameters including position, angular rates, accelerations and stick deflection.

Thanks to its open architecture, the system can be expanded with additional sensors and is already used for professional data acquisition in aircraft certification programs. Adaptable force gauges with digital displays measure longitudinal and lateral control forces. For pedal force monitoring, a compact sensor easily straps to the pilot’s shoe, providing instant digital readouts in Newton and automatically logging the data — no aircraft installation required. Together, these tools enable trainees to work with real data in real conditions, building deep understanding of flight dynamics and system behavior.
