MBB Bo-105

The MBB BO 105 is an outstanding platform for flight test training due to its highly responsive handling characteristics, exceptional agility, and proven reliability. As the world’s first production helicopter with a rigid, hingeless rotor system, it provides precise control response and allows pilots and flight test engineers to clearly observe aircraft dynamics and handling qualities.

The BO 105 is powered by two Allison/Rolls-Royce 250-C20B turboshaft engines, each producing approximately 420 shp (313 kW), and features a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of up to 2,500 kg. Its twin-engine configuration enhances safety, while the spacious cabin allows the integration of flight test instrumentation and onboard observation equipment.
